Nice job isolating the bud from the background. I think the crop is fine. It looks like the bud is about to burst - a sure sign of spring. |

I like the softness. It is hard to get things in focus when the wind is blowing it around! |

With a touch more contrast the bud and branch would really jump off that beautiful bokeh. |

Wow! You'd sure never know the wind was an issue. It is perfectly sharp and still. That is such a beautiful soft setting for that intersting plant to show itself off against.

I have been shooting buds from my lilac trees But they look so tiny & lonely, I have not posted them ... I do know what you are going for. :) |
