 I didn't have the chance to take anything at lunch and decided to take a walk and then pictures after work. Rain. Again. I take the long way home to maybe get some of those scarce spring flowers and see about 6 deer slowly walking through a puddle alongside the road just begging to have their picture taken. Camera was in trunk because I never got it out for picture because of the rain.

So desperate to get a shot today, I stand in my garage, in the cold, and take shot after shot of cars going by. It was actually fun because I haven't done much panning. Out of about 100 this is the best.

NI (lots due to high ISO and low light)
Filter Forge motion filter
create layer mask and mask out most of car to keep it in focus (original has motion, but this enhanced it)

Zoom, zoom, zoom! Wait! that's not a...oh, this is embarrassing - it's been three years since I've watched TV, and I can't remember which car is a zoom, zoom, zoom. In any case... Zoom, zoom zoom!

Way to make lemonade out of lemons, right? This is VERY COOL!!! I love the reflection in all that motion -- and the angle. Quite artistic!!

Looks like a glossy car brochure image. I love the blur and the softness it made. Nice job. I am a huge fan of diagonal lines and with him going "uphill" it really adds a nice linear quality. Good colors as well.

Wonderful panning! I've taken a few shots in the past in the style of panning, and haven't achieved this high of quality. This is really sharp looking image! I really like the smoothness of the car. Excellent job.
