 Highlight and shadow recovery in RAW converter
Switch to LAB mode, invert luminance channel
Switch to RGB mode, using curves lower gamma of green channel
Crop and resize to 640x640
USM 40 pixel radius, 20%
USM 1.0 pixel radius 60%
Convert to 8 bit RGB, "save for web"

this turned out so nice! I love trillium and you gave them a compeltely different look here, yet still their fragility and beauty show.

Quite wonderful use of the colours and light reversal in a negative image; the effect is lyrical, as if we can see the spirits of the leaves. Edit to add thanks for the original and all your steps.
