I Can't see why the DQ, I only spotted from the orignal photo a hot pixle on bed was removed, but other than that, I didn't find any cloning, but I still like it the same though. |

Hi Kliopatra, sorry, I didn't think this picture will do that good in the challenge, I didn't take any setup pictures, next time will do for sure ..

Hi Matto, please check the '' You may not '' section in the rules page .. it says: spot-edit your entry, except to remove sensor dust or hot pixels.
and this is what I did exactly, removing few hot pixels .. it is a minor imperfiction,

I really liked this shot, too bad its going to get DQed for cloning in basic. Better luck next time.
1- Open Raw.
2- White Balance to Shade in CS3.
3- Contrast.
4- Saturation.
5- Coloned couple of sparks. <<<<6- Neat Image.
7- Crop.
8- USM.
9- Save for the web.

Did you outline with an actual flame? I experimented with an LED Light and an Incandescent lamp. Yours looks really nice. |
