| This almost works for me, but it's not quite a killer shot. Not totally sure why. I like your shading in the background, but the clarity of the actual subject is still not spot on. It's hard to get a deep DOF at such range, and I think this one begs for more DOF and to be a little brighter. |

| I really enjoy the color tones in this image. I feel a touch more space to the right of the point, and the point being sharp, would tie it in better to the title. |

| the composition is kinda awkward, maybe if was centered, with more space between the end and the frame edge |

| I like the shot, but the top of the 'rod' looks out of focus, and I'm finding that more distracting that I would have thought... |
