 The shutter was open just a tad too long and over-exposed the white flowers. I tried to create contrast in the flowers, but will probably be marked down because it's still very obvious. I sharpened the part of the butterfly that was stationary - using several layers at different opacities. Also, I realize the motion blur isn't extremely blurry, but I liked the contrast of one of the section of the wings moving and the other staying stationary. This butterfly kind of hovered and its wings fluttered really fast. It was quite a sight to see. The wings really did this - I didn't add any blurr at all to this image. This week just didn't have a lot of time for this challenge - which is too bad because motion blur of my favorite effects. Still thought this butterfly was beautiful and worthy of a submission. I'll take the lower marks instead of wishing I'd submitted and didn't.

Stunning capture, excellent composition and iridescent color. Only weaknesses I see are the blown out white flowers and maybe could use some more space at the bottom, but those are minor. Very well done.

The flowers are a bit too high contrast, but the photo is really nice. I would have cropped vertically I think

Quite stunning, the green of that butterfly (I assume that's natural) is astounding. Meets challenge perfectly, and great pic in general. 10

Beautiful. The colors are nice with different shades of green contrasting with the white. The DOF is also excellent. Too bad that the white flowers don't have much definition (overexposed?). If you want to do this again, play around with the aperture like jacking it up to a higher number (smaller opening) but keep your time the same. But if you already know this, my apologies. Good job!

Beautiful picture. Love how the background is blurred. Can't wait till the challenge is finished so I can read your camera settings for taking this photo!
