 The ever popular dandelion seed head. Shot to death. But I haven't shot one yet, so here's the poor little ragged one I found in my yard. He was a bit lopsided and starting to fall apart. Too windy to shoot outside, so I brought it in, where it proceeded to fall apart even more. Shot on a black board with natural sunlight. Tried several different conversion - not particularly thrilled with very many of them. (Can't remember which I ended up with - I think simple desat, but will check my notes later and edit this.)

You managed to get the delicacy of this to show very well. Nice conversion.

Maybe shot to death, but this is a totally different take on the norm, and I like the bold, in-your-face presentation. The wispy little feathers look magical like soft lights on the scene.
