| The variety of shades of pink are a delight, nicely set off by the green BG. I like the almost-but-not-quite noise. |

wonderful capture of the layers of petals - the in focus areas are a delight to the viewer while the bottom darker areas show us some of the limitation of P&S

Nice rose shot. One of the things you can do easily to spice up flower close ups like this is to add a little spritz of water before shooting, so that the flower has droplets on it.
I have a rose bush with the same color roses in my front yard. |

| I also like the crop. I really like that the flower is very real. By that I mean, you can see the little brown spots here and there, makes it look very natural. |

| I love the crop and the colors. The shallow DOF bothers me a little -- hard to find the focal point. The smooth dark background, really makes the rose stand out, and I like it's seemingly disorganized petals. |
