 Sometimes, i just get lucky.*
Convert from RAW, crop, sharpen.
Adjust the wing colors slightly to bring them out.

*Of course, I did take about 60 pics at the butterfly garden...makes it somewhat easier to get lucky.

Nice colors. How the heck do you sneak up on bugs so closely? Even with a long zoom, you had to be pretty close to this.

awesome colors, texture on the butterfly is nice. i would have tried to include the other antenna tip in the photo
