 Simply experimenting with the bulb setting and sliding the barrel of the camera in and out on the staionary coin.

One tungsten light was set in front off the coin and dimed very, very low.

Cropped the immage for effect; auto adjusted color; adjusted brightness, then saturation. Cropped for the web and sharpened.
