I do hope this placing doesn't stop you submitting here in future - though it's a clear lesson in what doesn and does not work as far as the mass of dpc voters are concerned :-). I still really like this shot - as i said, it was a clear second place effort for me, and I particularly don't understand what it is about this that places it so very low in the list, at least compared to a lot of the absolute rubbish that has been rated higher than it.

At least on my monitor I find the brightest lights to be a little too bright, and take away from the overall mood.

I really don't like the "J" shaped squigglies at the top of the frame, but I have to tell you that I LOVE the rest of the image with it's very surrealistic, futuristic and eerie look. This is an awesome picture that I assume took form in post editing? The colors and feel is just great. Can't wait to see the details after the competition is over. High score given.

the light abberations spoil what could be a good picture.

wonderful stuff - truly and deeply moody. If there weren't one shot here that blew everything else away, this would be best in show for me ... as it is, only second best I fear :-) Still a class act.

I love the blurring of the people in the picture, but those lights in the background are too distracting.

Interesting shot, well composed. This would really work for me without the orange noise on the left hand side of the frame. The lights on the horizon would work better without the ones in the middle that intersect with your subjects' heads. This makes the shot look like an accident.
