| Thanks everyone for your comments on this. There were a lot of tough calls in producing it. I am glad it did as well as it did. Also thank you eyewave, I did not expect that and it really improved my whole day, especially since my Sepia entry is going for last place, lol. I have placed it on my profile with honor. |

Way underrated. The connection is so crystal clear, this should have done much better, even if it had been entered into the "Odd" challenge.

As there are 5 straws, shouldn't this be in the 'odd' challenge ?
Nice idea but lacking a bit of the 'Wow' factor, the tonal ranges are too similar between the hands and the curtains (and even the straws). This might have had more impact against a dark background ? Or go the whole hog and go 'High Key'.

| this is a good shot i really like it a lot. maybe having 4 straws instead of 5 could help emphasise the even in the photo |
