...to expand why this is out place: It is common for military operations to fly at EXTREMELY high altitudes, with multiple jets, and in a perfect grid pattern when doing surveillance of an area. Mostly, you'd see these types of Contrails before some kind of military operation, or when some similar type of intelligence needs to be gathered. The fact that we see perfectly aligned, and gridded Contrails over Nashville is totally out of place, and totally questionable!
It looks close to dusk or dawn in the image, so I'm assuming that whatever party is doing it expected them to be obscured by nightfall. |

CON trails, not Com trails. Con as in condensation. |

Contrails... and being in the sky is not out of place. |

It's called 'contrails'. What's so out of place having them over Nashville?? They don't allow modern aircraft in the skies there????? |

I think it's CONtrails (CONdensation). They ARE in the the right place and they ARE out of focus! would have a been a nice shot for another challenge |

Unfortunately, not a great photo - sun and silhouette of trees is nice, but would be better if the colors weren't so blotchly and if the photo was less grainy. BTW, I believe they are called contrails, short for condensation trails, and I think they are in place in the sky, not out of place.
Not sure it meets the challenge |

Nice compositon, but it looks like a very tight crop -- the sky is very pixelated and the trees are very soft.n And, I'm not really sure what' s out of place. |

Wild image. I'm not sure how many people will understand it, though. |

The contrails are interesting, but I'm not sure why they're out of place over Nashville. The sky seems a little grainy. |

Not being from TN and being used to seeing contrails, I admit I'm not sure why they are weird or out of place here. That being said, I like the photo and the composition... focus seems soft, but perhaps that's intentional. Also, there's something off with the colors... noise, perhaps? (i'm referring to the purple blotches in the clouds). Still, good shot! |
