This was among my personal top three "best" images for this challenge. The other two finished 1st and 3rd. Voters were unusually subject in scoring in this challenge and likely did not take the time to understand how yours met the challenge. It is a fantastic image and you did a terrific job capturing and post processing it. |

One of many pictures not all that out of place, but with the awesome capture and colors I'm willing to buy the residential twist. Great image. |

This is a great motion capture of this duck (a little soft maybe). I wish we could see some more of the pool and that the horizontal line of the pool (if it is a pool, I guess) was not crooked. |

This is my favorite shot this challenge. Great freeze on the duck. I have them in my lake where I live and know how hard this shot is to get. Good luck. |

Very good shot of the duck, but not enough context to show why it's out of place. If it weren't for the title, I wouldn't know. Also, you need to rotate the shot to get the wall straight. |

I'm guessing it is a swimming pool, a little more clarity on the pool would emphasize it's location as being out of place. Other than that, the Duck is good, only way better would be done Peking style :-) |

excellent capture, nice separation between subject and background, focus could be crisper |

Good capture. To possibly get more impact, including more of the pool may of helped. 6 |

I really like the sharpness of the feathers you have captured here. Nice capture on the water drops as well. |

incredible image of a duck, but this image might have benefitted from a wider angle. I had to study the image for a while to determine that it is flying away from an above ground pool. |

Well I like it some movement in feet but other than that excellent image. 10 because it's the best image so far. I think you mean coming out of a swimming pool but they will be barking at you for it don't meet the challenge. |

Not terribly out of place but great shot! The blue of the pool edge really set up the duck's colors. |

Beautiful picture of a duck in flight -- well caught -- I'm missing the "Out of Place" part though. I see duck... I see water. |
