Just a little butterfly, a little bigger than my thumbnail.
Fuji A820 1/600, f8, iso 200, manual settings.
Crop, Levels, Exposure, Contrast Highlights.
It's a Fulvous Hairstreak butterfly.

Fascinating shot! The browns and yellows look well together and the little butterfly looks like he has 2 heads! ...and you know 2 heads are better than one! Sorry, couldn't resist! :D

I like all the details in the buds, it does appear like they are coming out of the photo! I think maybe I would have de saturated the greens slightly to see if the butterfly stood out more but other than that a really nice shot

Nice clear detail in this shot. I wonder what kind of butterfly that is. I like the way the brown buds(?) seem almost 3-D

P.S. I think burning the edges of the image slightly, would be the icing on the cake.
