My daughter's cat, Piper, on the mantle in her oldish row house. I had her put the cat up there as I liked the setting and the light from the window, and envisioned the mantle as a place where many cats have sat in that pose over the years. Except for the tags on her collar, which are modernish, the scene is fairly timeless and works well in sepia for me.
PP - converted from RAw, rotated, cropped, levels, duotone, increased contrast, added border, resized, sharpened with noise reduction. |

Absolutely lovely image that should fare well in this challenge. My only nitpick is that I would have cropped the image a bit differently, removing the clock. Might be just me, but I find it a tad distracting. Good luck. |

Oo. Nice. Nice focus. Just noticed the clock, given your title, shame that wasn't more of a feature. More refined crop top left to remove the frame may have given this a little more refinement, but fairly minor, plus I realize the clock would be sacrificed. Tones work well here. |

Very nice shot and depth of field. The bricks a good for sepia and I like the way she comes out of the darkness. |

Composition feels a bit wrong - would prefer the cat looking into the negative space. Nice contrast and sharp too. |
