Hahaha, almost last place! Not exactly what I was hoping for, sighs.
Anyway here is a version with no noise, just want to prove this was intentional.
Thanks for all the comments everyone, keep them coming!

Again I had a lot of ideas for this challenge. I originally wanted to find a classic car and grunge up the photo to look really old. However luck provided nothing more than a rusty mailbox which turned out blurred.
I still wanted to do a vintage theme, the passage of time. I tried to find things that looked old around me. I finally settled on my old G2, not exactly old, but not exactly new either and being replaced by my D300 I felt it fitting.
Originally I wanted to grunge this photo as well, I actually still do, sapping the contrast from it and adding a lot of noise and blurring to make it look old. However as things go on DPC I figured I would lose points for it not being clear, bright, sharp, and free from noise.
I suppose that is fitting since this is a photo contest and not an art contest but voters should still keep an open mind to the art aspect as well.
There is a line I drew though, I had to add at least some noise to the image. If it costs me my first blue then so be it, but this is how I want my photo to be.
If people don't like it, they obviously have poor taste. :P
Pretty simple editing done:
Rotate, Crop, Resize, Desaturate, Photo Filter Sepia 100%, Add Noise, Add border. Didn't even have to touch levels this time.
I hope this does decently but we'll see. :)

It's a great picture but here on DPC it's going to have a hard time fighting against the images that are "crystal clear", if you understand what I'm saying. The "noise" really detracts the image quality for me, sorry. -BB
Nice composition, I like the grain it adds to the nostalgia. I have used one of these once or twice although it wasn't my own. I have 5 point'n'shoots and only just got a DSLR, I'd keep that camera if I were you. Sometimes it's all we need to get that one, perfect, wonderful shot.
Not sure if the grain is intentional (I assume it is), but I found the lighting to be flat, and the composition awkward. I would have liked this much more with some shadows/depth to it.
I guess the grain is intended to go with the sepia to make it look old? However I find the grain too strong and a bit distracting. Composition is also lacking.
