 Got this idea after seeing all these cool macro shots in the recently ended macro challenge. I hope voters will get the message that this is aimed at a book that may contain healthy vegetarian recipes.

Setup:
No, they are not on a glass. Vegetables are supported on toothpicks which passes through both Os and background yellow paper. I used various colors to create colorful/cheery feel. If you haven't noticed the similarity yet, it is based on "Google" logo.

Lighting:
Two 500W sidelights only on veggies and two diffused 60W light-lamps on top and bottom for the whole setup.

Processing:
crop, neat image, curves, saturation, resize, multiple usm passes, frame (black to enhance dof perception).

Issues I am afraid I will hear about:
- Yellow background. I might get white background suggestions. I prefer this one though.
- Apparently visible "GiiD" word does not mean anything. I couldn't come up with anything witty in an hour that I had to shoot-process this concept, so this one has to do.
- The light fall-off is just a little too shallow on the broccoli, which creates dark line around it on the top.

Nice idea but perhaps the it would work better if the letters were all the same colour.

Clever. Not sure about the carrot - maybe a celery stick instead? Nonetheless - a neat concept. Good luck in the challenge.

cute idea. the blur of the background is somewher in-between, I think more blur (and more space between the letters) would have helped. light on the veggies is a bit flat
