There are very nice values in this photograph and the peanuts are nicely centered. The lack of a lot of negative space is good. |

The peanuts in the middle add interest to the picture, but it would look better in color. |

It's "ok". I think keeping this in color would make for a more appealing image. B/W treatment is great for textures...a different POV to emphasize the shells may have been a consideration for the B/W treatment. JMO of course. :-) Good luck in the challenge. |

im not sure black and white was the best idea here, everything seems to blend together and the subject isn't really obvious on first glance |
