Ok, this is my first ever challenge. Not sure how well this image will be received, so anything will be a result.
This is also my first time using photoshop (CS2), so I look forward to any comments on my processing skills (or lack of!)
This shot did take a little while to get. My autofocus has gone on my one and only lens so to catch the ewe's eyes dead centre, have the ewe stay still for 1/6s while I focused then zoomed was a bit of a challenge.
I wanted to capture some of the contrast between the playful lambs and the guarded panic of the ewes, and I think the zoom effect helps the viewer feel that.
I won't bother putting up my processing steps as everyone voting will probably have a lot more experience than me! |

I really like the zoom effect here. And the ewe staring at the camera is very strong. Quite surprising to see green in a sepia challenge, but I really like the effect of the sepia tone over the color. |

I think colour isn't meant to be in the photo. Nevertheless, I like this shot! |

I don't really see this as being sepia. I can see multiple colors in the photo including the green grass. Aside from that the blur effect takes away from the photo and is unnecessarily used in my opinion. |

You will probably get a few low votes for having color in this image but I think the sepia like tone over the color helps the artistic effect you were going for. Very creative. 7
Back to bump: The more I look at this image the more I like it. This probably won't make it on the front page but it does go into my favorites. 10 |

Very intersting image, like the zoom effect, but don't understand the color spectrum. |
