the bad thing about cropping everything out is the hard edge that the eye sees. More even lightling or maybe less overcompensation at the top would make this look less plastic. |

It's very obvious that the background was chopped out after the fact (as opposed to shooting this against a white background). |

fine composition; the green stuff has a nice texture, the edges of the petals are your trouble area here - there is something funky about them. I'd suggest a very slight blur filter to softed them |

The petal edges on the white backgound seem weird as if the image was overshaprened or if the background was cloned out. Yellow petals at top also seem washed out. |
