 I was shooting something else and sitting on the grass and spotted this little wasp circling this dandelion around and around. I put my camera right on the ground to steady it and shot a whole bunch of shots blindly. There were a few decent ones.

I cropped this one quite a bit, sharpened, adjusted color and tones.

that is quite a macro. I haven't been able to do that w/ an SLR let alone P&S so I am impressed.

I really like this one. It looks like an alien with those silver eyes. I love all the pollen over the little guy. Shows he is having a good time. It is just amazing what you find by accident.

that is pretty darn awesome for a p&s camera - the way the pollen is attached to him makes him appear to be a little yellow snowman - very cool stuff

Yikes! this is quite startling (& made me sneeze)! I love to shoot blindly, sometimes the results are worth it. This is perfect!

Wow, awesome capture ... I love the detail of the pollen ... in fact the detail generally is great. The colours and the blurred background work very well, great capture
