Looks like your little model has profited you well twice (more?) now. I love both of these shots (your 'What's Up' shot) and this one. Keep it up! |

Cute!! I thought about something similar, but our rat wouldn't cooperate. Glad yours turned out. I like that you were able to keep little rodent in focus. Good job! and good luck with the challenge. |

This is my favorite of the challenge. Nice work in every way. The shallow depth puts all the emphasis on the subject. (is his name Algernon ? well, give him a flower just the same) Beautiful and creative work! 10 |

Technically very well done. Important to keep the eyes of the animal in sharp focus when using such a shallow DOF. Its comic and very nice image but I sort of a feel sorry for that animal (and the owner of the toothbrush). |

Cute.
I think a greater DOF would have improved the image a bit |

Great use of Shallow DOF...wow! This is my pick for a ribbon...great idea and wonderful execution. I only have two things/questions I'd like to mention. The exposure inside the cup seems a bit dark. Also, I'm wondering if having a bit darker cup would help make the white/lightness of the mouse's head and pink paws show up a bit more?
Again, I think this just might be a winner. |

She's still looking cute and sexy. ;)
Great shot, though a little more DOF might have been nice, as the head of the toothbrush almost disappears. I like that it blurs, it's just a little much for me.

The focus is great, with only the mouse's face crystal clear |

Very nice. What's up with all the toothpaste and toothbrush shots though? All of a sudden that's all there are. There weren't common a few weeks ago. I guess it's the new craze. This photo, in my opinion, actually uses these rather boring subjects in a remarkable way. I am very pleased with the focus on the mouse alone. Keep up the great work. |

Good photo, a background that contrasts a little with the cup would be nice, or even better, a different (non-translucent plastic) cup. |

Ah! Adorable- the writing on the toothpaste tube is a little distracting but the little mouse is precious- great job :D 9 |
