Superb capture...it is disappointing yet not surprising that this sublime work didn't place much higher...definitely one of my faves! |

How you didn't place in the top 3, especially over the parrot is beyond me. Your photograph is beyond extraordinary and I commend you to no end for capturing a brilliant photo filled such emotion and technical brilliance. |

i really like this, because of the dof, i think. it's like he is saying 'talk to the hand'. :) i might have cropped closer to the right elbow to take him a little out of center, but stil a really cool shot. |

love this photo....I have a photo of my son taken when he was about this age running with a kite.......it was taken with a cheap 35mm camera, and it remains one of my favorite older photographs...good photo |

IMO, cropped and centered a bit too much. |

I like the mood in this photo. I could see it accompanying an article in a parenting magazine. |

This photos is what capturing the moment is all about! Excellent use of blue around the subject to add movement. Great story to the photo. 8 |

What a great shot! - the SDOF, the position of his limbs and torso, the whole thing. - 9 |

Very nice capture, a different approach to a portrait. The DOF gives the image the so called "wow-factor" IMHO. Posture gives the feeling of running, and it looks like you got just the right fraction of a second and focus on this one. Supershot, should go on your wall. [edit: my number 2 pick in a very good challenge] |
