That's quite a different look. I really like what you did with the texture, it looks like it could be a giant grasshopper from an old sci-fi movie. |

I've caught a lot of grasshoppers in my time to take fishing. As a kid, I remember looking at their wierd alien faces before I sunk the point of the hook in their thorax. This shot brings back those memories. Grasshoppers do look like visitors from another planet. "D Your shot of the white egret in the winter rice field totally rocks! |

Crispy Critters!!!! lol I don't know why but that was the first thought that came to mind when I opened the image. Love the textures overlay and the detail of this little bugger. |

I rarely see a b&w shot of insects and this one looks great. The whole image is a plethora of textures with the walkway, the insect's wings and your overlay. Cool shot. |

I like the textures and tones. If the grasshopper wasn't bright it would mix into the background perfectly. |
