it looks starnge the way most of the trees are a vibrant green but the tops are all gray. i'm not sure if its natural or an editing effect, but it is a little starnge to look at nevertheless. the lightbeams are gorgeous! |

Nice shot of rays from the sun. I bet it was better in person to see it. Not knocking the image, it's just that it always is better in life than on film sometimes. :) Good luck. |

A dramatic sky aways enhances a good image. This is a nice capture, especially the birds. Under advanced rules you have several options available to reduce the overexposed areas in the upper and middle portion of the image (using Photoshop). An adjustment level would work well for that. A 50% overlay greyscale level could be added to bring out highlights in the light streaks to make them more dramatic. Be careful, it is easy to overdo that. My personal preference would be to either make this image "more" sepia or go totally greyscale with it. In any regard, I like this shot a lot. |

The water almost looks like gray flannel - love the light through the clouds being yellow tinged. - 7 |

Looks like a shot from the Bible. :) I like it, but it's a bit dark and we see a lot of sky. Maybe less crop on the water and more on the sky. |

Amazing divine light. Next time you see it, plug on a ND Gradient Filter, it'll help. |
