 The apparent priorities of a photojournalist, just prior to falling into the mountain stream. At the finish line of the community duck race, the hot shot photographer for the local newspaper, showing off for the tourist crowd, slips on the slimy rocks and plunges into the drink. This fall to the amusement and delight of the spectators. With many thousands of dollars of camera equipment in his hand and and around his neck (not shown), he is willing to let his body take the punishment to save the Nikon equipment. (Had he been carrying Canon equipment, he wouldn't have risked such folly.)
