Another lady at the flower craft show. She had a rather.... interesting character to her face.

i had a hard time getting what i wanted out of this photograph and still am not happy with the out come. In fact the more i look at it the more I don't like the cast on her face. will have to change that.

A little more natural Edit:

Regardless of the processing you took a fantastic candid portrait. I have a difficult time getting into people's faces for candids like this. You clearly made a connection with her before the shot. Nicely done.

Love the expression. With this edit I would think you had found her coal mining. I do like the effect though

Her grin makes me think of the proverbial cat that swallowed the canary! Great eyes!!

i dont know wot software programs/plugs/filters you've got ..
you dont want to lose that wonderful character by softening it too much .. altho that could work too . . maybe turning it black & white, then you wouldnt get the charcoal look .. ??

She looks like a young boy in the thumbnails. I like this, no matter the pp.

Would like to see the original and what processing you used. I'm think this is an excellent photo disguised as something less by the particular processing choices. Seriously, I would like to see the original capture.

I don't think the lighting did this woman any favours - there's a tinge that just doesn't sit right with me.

No kidding. This is really neat. Love her expression. The tones go well with her face.

You've really captured quite a bit of detail on her face! OK, I really don't mean this in a derogatory way, but is she by any chance a chimney sweep? Anyway, she looks quite pleased with herself, quite self assured, and she has beautiful eyes!
