 This oak leaf was captured last fall by the wire fence and I suppose is a reminder to all the spring flowers and trees that they too will fade..

My first thought was that the lighting was harsh - but then as I keep looking I like it that way. It not only makes the leaf eye catching, those little web strands get picked up too.

excellent shot .. love the simplicity of the fence with it's stark lines against the black and then the leaf with all the intricate details .. the leaf looks like its bled onto the metal ..:)
