Awwwwww, I LOVE this. This really strikes a chord with me, and is the perfect story to tell.
(I have my Grandmother's too, it was shaped like a little chair, and I would never dream of changing a thing about it.)

| This was one of my top ten in the challenge. I guess it hit the emotional nerve with me as my grandmother sewed alot and had a pincushion very similar to this. |

 I really liked this one - the shallow depth of field, the deep tones, and the melancholy, subtle story implied in the mundane objects. the composition is dynamic yet quiet, and the whole thing has a warm, sad feeling. well done indeed. |
