"Something is new when you discover it, when it isn’t like painting the town or putting on rouge, when it is like an object, not looking but making it round or rough or squaring it out making room for it once was, what could be and also for that which is, that is when we look when we need to find something. And when it is marvellously still, it is and is and is. And how does it feel. It is made and it feels solid and good and made how such a thing is a thing to hold and behold and strange too but not as new as buying new. Well look at it now.

If you remember yourself a little, you remember looking at things more naturally than looking at numbers and dates and specifications. If you remember these things a little, you remember where you have been without having to know what it means. Meaning is not the same as knowing but what happens when you remember something that makes a difference, if we remember a little something to remind ourselves who we would be if we didn’t. Then it becomes something to do.

Knowing is not the same as doing. Knowing is not the same, although it is very helpful to know how to do anything well. We have seen the effects of knowing and we have seen the effects of doing and at times we have been fortunate. Then we have seen the effects of both knowing and doing.

What is something is really something when it feels like nothing and everything at once. Then it is many things, not all but little by little there is enough of everything to have arrived at a sense of how little there is to go around. What happens is how it is happening when nothing is something we do not miss anything. What is not happening is all the more reason for doing it, it is just as good and thank you for everything and for everything it is not. Then it is forward and fresh and there’s little need to go out and paint or putting on rouge.

What is new stays news when how little there is is enough to go forward, and nothing is new enough but the instant we are, we are."

Atypically, I was a bit of a dnmc nazi on this challenge. I gave this a 7, however, because really any enigmatic picture is full of stories.

I like the reference, and it's a good picture, too, but how is this a story?

I don't like the backgroung that much, and the lighting is not helping you either

I dont like the lighting, its too rough. The fabric in the back should be less noticeable, or you should at least iron it.

Other than that... WHERE IS THE STORY???

I like this abstract's tonalities.

Although I don't understand or like this picture, it does intrigue me. Which is what I am expecting from this challenge ... and not finding so far.
