From the overall score I'm receiving, I can see that many other voters shared the sentiment expressed by socalsteve that all they see is "curves and squares." I thought I had a strong implied triangle composition, but it obviously did not translate. That is my failure, not the viewers'.
To me the shot has a lot of implied triangles, but two big ones that carry the day - the primary implied triangle is composed of the two bottom, forward column tops and the crest of the dome (a large implied triangle pointing upward with it's apex at the top of the structure); the base of the secondary implied triangle is formed by the line of the second set of columns and then flows downward along the implied line created by the crests of the bottom, forward columns, its point ending below the bottom of the shot. Because this is a temple that I was photographing - which may not be apparent - I liked the juxtaposition of the two, opposing triangles - one pointing toward "heaven" above, the other toward "hell" below. |

| Beautiful lighting, exposure and detail. I'm not sure I get the triangle composition but the image is good enough that I'll assume it's there and I'm just not getting it (i.e. I won't mark you down for it). |

| This is beautiful. Perfect symmetry and the contrast of the light and shadows is breathtaking. Good processing too. The triangles aren't very prominent though. |

| The intricacies in the design and stonework are great and you achieved a sharp shot. I also like the contrasts and the duotone. The triangles on the pillars and the curved slices of the dome are great. |
