This is a wonderful candid, Bud. Those big eyes look so sad. |

I actually kind of like the blurred hand - it adds another touch of life to the shot. Mesmerizing eyes - the hand keeps it from being too static, I think. What I would suggest, though, is cloning out the design on the shirt if you can. |

Love the eyes!!!!! Good tonal ranges for that austere look that complements the situation. |

Great expression and beautiful dark eyes, the hand doesn't bother at all, well done. |

Excellent Portrait in Photojournalism style! The hand movement actually underscores the fleeting nature of childhood! Great Job! :) |

I second Pawdrix's comment. The motion blur of the hand doesn't detract from this portrait at all. You have done a fabulous job capturing this little girl. Wonderful eyes. |

"candid portrait The blurred hand is a bit distracting, but I love the face"
Images do NOT need to be sharp unless the importance is in the detail. Stock shots...product shots....fine but outside of that, detail is in itself a distraction. I like the motion. Outside of DPC nobody would be bothered in the slightest by that...unless they have ADD. |

USM is Unsharpened Mask, which is the sharpening tool in Photoshop. |
