AP - yep it's taken in the same park as the 'early morning light' one. This time around it's evening and I'm in a different part of the park and facing the other direction.
I love taking pictures into the sun and handling the shadows that you get then.
You are absolutely correct as well with the man walking to the right of the bench, I had a shot where he was clear but then I lost the nice shapes in the group on the left (the girl standing up had sat down). This sort of unpredictability is what makes these types of shots fun to take (and see usually) but sometimes it prevents you from getting everything right.
I'm very happy with the shot though and thanks everyone for their comments :) |

I gave this a 9, definitely reminded me of your 'early morning light' shot which I had fav'd, although I didn't completely remember the image at the time. Beautiful light here. I know its a tiny detail, but I think if the single man walking to the right of the bench was isolated from the tree the composition of the pic would be more balanced. Lovely editing |

Omg! I'm blown away by the lighting and shadows! Your detail and composition are flawless! A 10 from me all the way. |

Very nice photo. I like the shadowy foreground contrasting with the lit field in the background. |

Nice fun park scene. I do wonder what the color version looks like though. I like the darkness of the trees. |

Gorgeous light, tones, clarity composition - really stunning. Title is funny - or is it creepy? :o) |

not really sure what's questionable about this at all :P It's got a lot going on - really wish you were closer to the subject(s) and maybe a tighter crop on the left. |

An eternal picture. And after the challenge you can give it a normal title ... like "Fun in the Park"! Maybe a crop to the edge of the left tree would keep the eye in the frame: there is nothing happening in that part of the picture. |
