I thought this was an excellent shot. I loved the angle and the action captured. I appreciate that you included your set-up info. I will probably not be setting up cameras in this fashion but it helps give me ideas so I can shoot my own kids as baseball season approaches. Amazing photo. |

in my opinion you were robbed...this is amazing work, perfectly fits challenge, the use of ABC is unbelievable, and the angle / perspective / shot in general is just faultless.
10 from me, and definitely should have been the blue :D |

I actually cannot believe this did not ribbon, and more importantly, did not get the blue. This is fabulously captured, it hits the title on the head, and the set up/ delivery is fabulous. Great work! |

This is such an ideal story-telling shot that I would almost swear you had it set up and posed. If so, both those models deserve academy awards. Nice job. |

This has been my favorite since I first perused through the thumbnails. The facial expressions are awesome, the focus is perfect, there's just nothing I don't like about it. And you couldn't have had a title fall in your lap easier than this one! :-) Hope to see this on the front page! |

WOW the expressions are priceless... the textures are -beautiful (detail/focus/balance of white and dark in your B&W are great) and it made me laugh because you actually have he A & C in the image with the ball out of reach of the catcher and the foot almost on home plate... but I wonder did they actually win or not now.... ;) = high score, the knee in the dirt and everything is just -sooo well framed captured! i look forward to seeing who this is by... |

Wild photo. I can not decide whether I like the action (pose) or not. The facial expressions just put me off for some reason. |

Well, technically they aren't yet "beat" because he's yet to touch the plate. They are about to be beat, but with two inches to go anything could happen. He could lift his foot, miss the plate, pitcher or catcher could recover ball and tag him out. But I doubt the umpires at this level would catch that. So the win is imminent. But I digress. Nice shot. And Astros has no apostrophe. :) |
