I still have my 1964 Schwin String-Ray bike with the original banana seat and Slik tire. Thanks for reminding me. Nice shot too. |

That's a gorgeous blue. I liked this image very much and wish it had done better in the challenge (I was one of your "8"s). |

I love the color in this, the composition. Might have wished for more depth of field (though not much more, as the oof seat adds a sense of depth and dimension). Assuming a shallow depth of field was necessary, you picked the right focal point. Since the "sissy bar" is actually carrying the highlight of the image, it tends to draw the eye there, and then disappoints by being unsharp. After the basic editing limitations are gone, a subtle burn-down of that element so that it is not the brightest might be worth a try. But I really like the image overall, and it is a refreshing entry in the Bike challenge. 8 |

Mine was red! Candyapple to be exact. I spent most of my childhood on that banana seat. Extra points for the memory. |

This sure brings back some memories. My first bike was a purple stingray, from Williams Cyclery on Long Island. Hmmm. I wonder if they are still in business? |

I had one of these, think that more depth of field to bring the handle into focus as well would help this phot |

A bicycle? I think the photo would be better if it wouldn't have been cropped so tight. |

I would've done some cropping and brought out some more sharpness in this photo. Cropping to bring the "tag" into a corner would make this look really sharp! |
