 This was taken at 7 in the afternoon, while the sun was shining through the closed window in my room. Placed my guitar between a window and a desk nearby, upside down. Was actually holding my guitar with my elbow so it doesn't fall while taking a picture of it.

Think it turned out ok for my first submission :)

Creative idea for the picture, it would have been nice if the strings were completely in focus.

The areas where the light falls on the guitar are overexposed; the areas in the shadows are mostly out of focus. Good idea though -- reminds me of outdoor summer concerts.

i like the idea of this, but not enough of the guitar is shown. maybe if more of the neck was visible and there were a few more light spots it could be better. nice job though

Very nice idea but the visible blur will take away few points for sure. The negative space is interesting composition for this picture, but the background is too busy and uninteresting. It distracts from the guitar (?) neck. I would try maybe different perspective and use tripod for this kind of shot.

oh I wish the focus point(s) were just a bit sharper. The focus is a bit blurry. I love your sun spots though.

This is really a nice shot but it seems just a tad out of focus to me.

There is a strong balalcne between the positive and negative space. The dappled light on the guitar strings are emphasized by their contrast. The light on the strings has a strong meaning also.
