(IncreÃble que haya quienes puedan ver calidez en ésta imagen que refleja la miseria y el abandono con tanta crudeza. Ciertamente que semejante indiferencia congelarÃa al mismo sol)
Incredible that exists those who could see warmth in this image, that reflects misery and abandon with so many crudeness. Certainly that nonchalance would freeze the Sun.
Excellent capture, Alfredo! |

Shame. This was one of my top picks. Congrats for 18th, but should have finished much higher :( |

I know I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but the title doesn't seen to fit. He looks rather warm. Don't get me wron, I like the photo. The title just doesn't seem to fit. |

I love the angle you chose and your timing is perfect. The light shining through is stunning. I also really like the fact that your subject is moving and not "posing" for you. Superb job 10 |

Nice shot. I noticed the paper was in English, but this scene reminds me of the time I lived in Mozambique. For some reason I am fascinated with it. It's a favorite and a 10 for me. |

Great use of rays! I really like this photo. The only nitpick I have is he looks too much like he's reading the newspaper which for me softens the blow of his cold harsh reality just a tad and with a title like that I think the harshness should be amped up not down. Not that I wish more on this person just that maybe there was a slightly different moment in time that was a bit more defining, if I am to nitpick. That said, this is head and shoulders over most of the entries and is in my top 5. Good luck! |

the sun beams add a nice touch to this photo. i don't like how the papers are moving, it distracts me from the mans face |

This is a great shot, great, but problem i have here is that the shot feels warm, and not "...cold".7 |
