The lighter area in background takes the main attention. Maybe another point of view (towards the forest?) would have fullfilled better the item of this competition.

Wow, impressive tree. I know you wanted to include dappled light in this picture, but I would like to see some outtakes after the challenge, where citizen is more visible (closer probably). I'm sure it has interesting texture. Now the eye is drawn to the branches and the building behind.

Meets completely the challenge, and the composition is interesting as well.

The exposure is particularly well managed, in very difficult condition.
