my daughter examining a flower I gave her, beneath a tree in dappled light- I really am pulled in 2 directions for the crop of this image, part of me wants to leave the whole frame, but the other part likes this intimate moment of her looking at the flower and its light and shadow play and the shapes captured by her arms and their positioning-- I'm more than certian someone will comment ont he horizon line but i sacrificed that for the -subject- to be straight in the frame...

I hope this does well!

hey you...CONGRATULATIONS on your new high score...Totally deserved and I am looking forward to seeing your first six which I reckon could be any time soon

Great shadow play and a wonderful range of complimentary colours

Super sharpness (without it being over sharpened) on your daughter a a wonderful gentle blur/bokeh in the background which shows that you got the DOF just right

Great image but make sure you use the full size allowed (640 px) in this case. Generally speaking, the bigger the image the better the impact.

I don't generally like colored borderds but it works well here. (Keep in mind that the site puts a small black border around anyways that might not work with the border you've already put on)

I like the colors you captured and the soft background really is pleasing.

I like the subtlety of the light here and naturally it suits the challenge well.

The picture looks soft. Could be your intention, since it is a child portrait. Nice, delicate colours. Cropping is a bit tight. More breathing space, could add to the picture. The border is disturbing a bit also.
