Greetings from the Critique Club -
Well you almost nailed the brown. I wont make this long as it looks like I will just be repeating most of what your other comments state.
You met the challenge for sure, but the technical issues really over power that. The blurry issue is just a really strong problem. Odds are this was handheld with a long shutter speed (long for hand held) and that ends up being all I think about when looking at the shot.
I do think you have a cool "model" here though. A wide angle lens (or standing further back) to allow the whole boat to be in the shot, and shooting on a tripod to allow a sharper shot would have served you much better here.

The composition is OK for this - looks to be a display in a town center somewhere? Also looks to have been handheld at low shutter creating some motion blur which takes away from the impact. I don't always carry a tripod either, but what you can do is find an immovable object - a bench or a pillar or something - and use the self-timer function to take the shot. |

Nice subject, poor execution - too blurry |

Looks like you have some blur from a slow shutter speed. I'm afraid that hurts it quite a bit. |

The photo seems to be out of focus |

It looks like a tripod would have come in handy in the low light :) |

Is that in a parking lot? Seems soft can't tell if it is the focus or camera shake. |

It looks like some camera shake is hurting this one a bit. |

Image seems to be blured to me. Perhaps camera shake?? Maybe mirror lock up may have helped if you were using a SLR camera and on a tripod. |

I'm a little confused by the obvious immobility of the ship and the motion blur of the shot. Just don't think that works for me. |

Love the majesty of the ship but really seems out of focus. |

You should have used a tripod. Too much info in the title. |

Looks OOF to me... had this been crisp it would have been pretty good. |

Hey, I lived next door to that :-) Right up on Hugo Street (what Harbor Drive is after it crosses Rosecrans) |

Too blurry, looks like camera shake rather than focus issues... |

this would be a really great shot if it was clear - did you use a tripod? |
