I actually like both of these shots, but I prefer this one. The wider crop gives more of a sense of scale and location. Your angle is awesome! |

I prefer this shot, though I understand why you did what you did for DPC. I myself fall into that trap alot - trying to "clean it up" and ending up dilluting what was a decent shot to begin with. But do keep shooting from the hip - it's a lot of fun and you get some very suprising and interesting results!! |

I much prefer this shot! I'm not usually a fan of selective desat : )
I like that this one is not cropped and shows more of the buildings, it adds some nice scale. There's a nice contrast between the two main subjects and that hand with the cigarette is killer!
or the other alternative would be to crop the hell out of it, say somewhere between the nose and lips of the dude on the left, and remove the top half! It changes the whole dynamic of the shot and puts a bit more emphasis on the bike and the hand with the cigarette... : ) |
