Well, I liked your Gypsy. I gave you a 7, I did notice it was a bit soft but that didn't take away from it for me, he has a very interesting face and I loved the expression. He looks so self satisfied and content, the softness gives him a sort of glow which I think really suited everything about him. I can't explain why but he gives me a sense of freedom.
Anyway I don't think your score should have been so low and I don't always agree that everything has to be totally sharp, if it works it works and this one did for me.

Nice background and good, unobtrusive use of fill (I'm assuming, since it's backlit). Lack of sharp focus detracts from the image, though.
