Could not have done this without jonfrommk. This was his creative idea and his boat. I contributed the paper (thank goodness for weekend ads). I'm thinking this will score quite low, but I had such a wonderful time that anything else doesn't matter.

Clearly this is a daytime outing, the boat being paper and all, so I very impressed it has a built in lamp cause you never know. A wonderful sense of just happening in this.

How cute! I saw a couple of people do this and thought it was a great idea. Love the great clarity on the boat. Kind of funny to see a lamp floating in the water like that hehe. How wonderful that you had a great time too :)

I like it! I love that just the boat is in focus and peering at it through the oof grass. It does feel a little wide on the left to me, hmmm, maybe that adds to the casual feel. Oh the lamp on the front makes the shot for me. It looks like you had fun :D

Tomatoes for tea

Well I have to say I am shocked at how this scored. Still, bottom line is that you (and I) like it and how much fun was it taking it in the first place

You'll hear this more than once - grass in front is distracting & gives a voyeuristic feel to the photo

Made me laugh - we don't have any boats around here either!

Well, kudos for using catalog/magazine paper for your toy boat. That adds some visual interest. But unfortunately, art speaks differently to different people and this just isn't speaking to me.

Good concept with the paper boat - I like the colours of the boat very much. Such a shame about the distracting foreground though.

An interesting take on the challenge. A bit dosconcerting at first because the "outside" of the boat blends so well with its surroundings that it's hard to see at first but I kinda dig that lamp on there.

But afloat! Quite the contrast between the color of the paper boat and the drab water and plants. Crop feels a little too wide on the left to me.

The grass in the front distracts me a bit but I love the color and clarity of the paper boat!

The grass in front of the little boat takes away from the image.

A little more creativity is needed for a paper boat shot.
