Had to force my sister to do this. my first time trying a portrait with the limited equipment i had, isnt one of my favourites but i didnt really feel like waiting a week to try something else ha. hopefully it does OK.

I like the contrast between sides, but the light could've been bit softer on the right. Still, should've placed higher IMO. (nice lips)

Nice control of the light essentially cutting Lindsay's face in half. I like the effect. I might have tried to move the hair that is casting the shadow on her cheek. Nice sharp focus for her eye.

ok I understand your going for a light dark split here but the light is to harsh on the cheek and destroying the detail and the dark side seems a bit flat 5

Not sure if it's the lighting or the processing, but the right side seems a little harsh and the shadow takes away from her pretty face.

lighting could use a little work. very pretty model, but the blowouts on the right side, w/ complete darkness on the left don't really work for me.

Classic technique, but maybe the wrong framing. Had it been a male model I'd suggest to bump up the contrast and add some grain to it as well
