Portrait of a horse in his simple but honest home. Small well chosen meaningful-to-him picture of sunset on the sea. I don't now who the horse is - he might be a famous writer, artist or very wise paterfamilias, but he has gravitas. (Photographer's parents were Dorothea Lange and Yousuf Karsh).
Photography is both illusion and allusive. I love getting carried away by the latter. |

excellent focus, spot on, the funky design on the back wall gives some added interest.
I also like how the neck and body fade away onto the darkness. |

Oh my. I really like this. I think it's the light in the horse's eye that makes it - almost a sense of wisdom there. The background works very well, too. Great light. |

It almost seems like the horse's head shouldn't stand out from the background so well, but it does. I like the reflection in his eye. Pretty horse...looks like he has gathered a few scars over the years, maybe from barbed wire??? |

Your style of BW conversion is really good, and the eye of the horse gives out a lot of emotion
well done! |

Nice looking horse. I like the way the rectangular structure on the wall balances out the image. |
