 I know that this portrait may not do incredibly well score wise as it isn't anything new or ridiculously creative, but it is something I'm happy and proud of as it is one of the best shots I've take of my 8th grade stepdaughter. She likes it too! I'm happy with the color of the background and am looking forward to some comments to hopefully improve more.

The exposure is excellent - you were able to capture the many colors of her hair. This image appears to be overly sharpened (on her hair). Good DOF use as her face stands out nicely. The whites of the eyes look a bit odd (color/brightness) in relation to the rest of the image. Nice pose and adorable smile.

What a lovely young lady. Good shot, perfectly exposed and sharp as a knife. The background is nicely out of focus. I wonder what she is going to think of this shot after she gets her braces off... just musing.

It's tough watching them grow up. My daughter is the same age. I am having a tough time as a father. Great photo! One for you to always remember.

great prom picture (I assume). I would have liked to have seen her body shifted a bit more to the front to see more of her face. but it gives a real cute look this way too.

Could have been a 7 or 8, but the leaves above her head, and the shed in the background really distracts... Otherwise nice pose and lighting
