The sharp features are captured nicely. The quintessential of female portraiture - angles, curves, expression, ornaments/accessories?, mood, fashion - all captured. May be the right side of the subject shd hv been a little more hidden in darkness to enhance the mystery of the female aura.
(oops! when i look below at what the experts say in the comments, I guess I am saying the opposite - they are calling for more light on the right! But then I am no photographer - so I am leaving my honest opinion as is for whatever it is worth.)
Congratulations on your maiden attempt. I guess you wd strike it rich sometime soon! |

Wow, great job for your first photo here at DPC! And you've only been doing this for a few months so I am jealous. :) The background does not bother me but like others said, you do need some softer light on the left. Great pose and clarity of the photo. And fun outfit too. Good luck on future challenges! |

the lighting really brings out her hair to make a frame around her face. Nice shot |

Needs a bit more light on the other side of her face - nicely posed and good expression. |

The lighting and the model are nice but the back ground really does not do this shot justice, having her up against the wall gives the photo kind of a mug shot feel. To me a smooth textuered backgroun or having her futher away from the wall would help. |
