My comment below should say 'only very slightly flawed', instead of being quite so brusque sounding. Lovely shot, this, and deserved a better placing, and certainly a better score. |

*sigh* This is beautiful. I rarely buy prints from other photographers, but I feel like I'd buy an 8x10 of this. :) Superb |

This is a great image. In fact, it's my favorite of the week :) I never get tired of this theme, and when you couple it with a nice contraty black and white, I can't resist.
This photo reminds me of my younger years before I ever started school. Rainy days were the worst. I can specifically remember standing at the window looking out and seeing the trees in the yard through the wet glass.
Excellent work...

Absolutely stunning, has to be a ribbon. I love the crispness of the water against the softness of the trees. The simple border also adds a lot of impact. Sensational. 10 |

I have a fondness for this kind of stuff - I find it evocative (perhaps I just have a fondness for this kind of mood, really). I do wish you hadn't done that with the border though - it rather puts it into the faux art greetings-card terrritory, rather than letting the mood stand on its own. Which is not to say I don't think it will be effective here ... I wish, in terms of dpc entries, my visual imagination extended to such things. A very good shot, flawed. 8. |

I really like this photo. I don't see a strong element of chaos, though. |

Very moody shot. Not too fond of the border though - I think I would have preferred the rain drops to go all the way to the edge. Good luck though - it's a very interesting photo. |
