What a powerful image. Makes you think. I really like the saturation of the red.

This is a terrific picture. I gave this one a 10 and it deserved a 12

Ah, so it's nail polish. Glad this did well. Going in my favorites.

sorry, I just don't like gory images here.
I appreciate the technical side of the image and have voted accordingly.

blood? This is a remarkable image, rather disturbing. the story it tell to me is self injury, unhappiness, see how the hand is pressing to get out? symbolicly trying to escape some internal pain represented by the haze and wetness of the rest of the body, An image like this that is faceless effectively allows the viewer to supply the identity. Techinically perfect, nice focus, veru good use of DOF, rule of thirds, desaturated color - all sepua except the blood, leading lines of the shower drops point up to the missing face. powerfull

This photo was very nicely composed. The red on the fingers are somewhat intriguing and draws my attention to make me wonder if the subject is relaxing or in a struggle. The colors are very drab and create a somber mood. As with any "shower scene" we always come to think of the "Psycho" movies, perhaps this was the mood you were trying to create; and along with the "blood" have captured what you set out to do, if that was the case.
All the proper qualities of a great photograph. If I had to point out one flaw that I could see I'd say that it was the bit of "gray area" that is near the fingers that sort of take away from a higher score. I liked it and voted an 8

Great idea, but the red on the hand is freaking me out a little. I'm not sure what to think or even if I am suppose to think about it. It's almost a little disturbing. Same shot with a little more clarity on the body parts would have been great.

I can't understand the red on her hand. Otherwise, this is a great composition with lots of room for imagination. You proably looked at this, but a little brighter might have worked as well.

Blood? There must be a story here that I'm not getting. I like the sepia tone. I think you just wanted to draw attention to the hand and so you made it bloody. Works well. 7

Fascinating shot - I guess I don't really need to know what the red stuff is. :) - 8

The colors, texture, and mood created here work well together. The image gives me a disturbing feeling of uncleanliness. I'd try to get rid of the bluish? tint on parts of the hand and I might even crop off a bit of the top. and focus more on the hand itself. Still a 10

you know, you can buy a vent that will remove the steam and improve the transparancy. also, i don't get the red, it seems a bit out of place.

I like this. Only disturbing factor is that coloer on her hand. It makes me think that something terrrible is behind that watered down screen. Kind of bothersome, but great shot regardless. (7)

I like this photo. Thanks. I like the subtle colors, the composition, and what is NOT shown as much as what is. I suspect it may be more than voters will appreciate but for me ... a 10!

one of the best in the challenge. the red fingernails are sorta distracting, b&w might have been better. however, it's not a big enough deal to deny you a 10.

Greetings...

This is excellent work. It's moody and the abstract nature of it adds quite a bit to that theme. The 'bloody' hand creates some nice tension and adds a some mystery to the storyline. = 10

I had to look at this one a long time. There is something very scary about it - the color (too pink for blood) on the hand... I think it is very good. 9
